WEEKEND SWATCHFEST PART 1: DIOR FALL/AUTUMN 2013 COLLECTION

Hi guys!  Hope you're enjoying your weekend so far. ^_^

On Friday night I attended the launch of the new Dior Fall/Autumn 2013 Mystic Metallics Collection in David Jones (that's a big department store for us Aussies!)

It was a fun night of getting a makeover (while sipping champagne) using the new colours, products and doing lots of swatching!  ;)

Without further ado, here's some photos I took of the products and swatches.  Apologies about the lower quality - I only used my phone camera and had to work with in-store lighting which can be a bit tricky.  Anyway, I hope it's useful to you.

Note, it's photo-heavy, so I will split this up into separate parts/posts.

There are 2 limited edition Dior Mystic Metallics 5 Couleurs Palettes (I'm told these can be applied wet for more intensity, or dry):

#384 Bonne Etoile – blue & green shades (I purchased this out of the 2 as mentioned in my previous haul post). ^_^

#864 Constellation – purple & silver (the MUA applied this palette on me and it does look beautiful!)

There are 2 Couleurs Glow Palettes available in Australia:

#751 Silver Glow: a trio of silvers and black.

#381 Smoky Blue: sapphire blue.

1 Dior Liner in:

#888 Plum

Above: Dior Mystic Metallics 5 Couleurs Palette in #864 Constellation and swatches of it below.

Above: Swatches of DiorLiner in 'Plum' - the sharp tip of the pen easily allows you to create very fine, precise lines.

Above: swatch of Dior Vernis Mystic Magnetics - a shadowy blue lacquer that creates wave-like patterns using the integrated magnet.  This also had to come home with me, along with another limited edition nail vernis in #382 Destin - a shimmering silvery pink. :)  The other LE shade in the collection which I didn't purchase is #992 'Galaxie' - described as a "brocade prune" shade.  (Whew!  Had to overcome temptation there to get this as well!) *pats on the back* ;)

Above: tiny swatch of Dior Addict Lip Gloss in #981 Ensorcelante.  There are 3 other colours in the collection.  Note, the various surrounding shimmery swatches are of the new and limited edition range of DiorShow Fusion Mono cream eye shadows!  Swatches and description of these will be in my next post. ;)

Below are photos of Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick in #986 'Bonne Aventure' on my lips, which is a lovely red plum.  There are 3 others.
