BURBERRY NAIL POLISH IN 'PALE GRAPE' (No. 410)

About
'Pale Grape' (No. 410) is one of six runway shades released for the Burberry spring/summer 2014 collection.  I purchased five of them (see here) which are all limited edition.  The other is 'Mink' (No. 105), which is part of the permanent set of nude shades.

Colour & Finish
A yummy, medium, cool-toned purple with a cream, glossy finish.  Depending on lighting, it can appear cooler and leans more grey indoors and a brighter purple in the sun.  Here's what it looks like in two coats on my summer tanned, olive skin tone (photographed indoors using a strobe).
Formula & Application
The formula is just right (neither too thin or thick), so it applies smoothly and evenly without issues. Similarly with Burberry 'Dusky Mauve', you could almost get away with wearing a single coat of this if you were in a rush, but complete coverage is obtained in two coats.  I found it dried quickly in just a few minutes.

Other Goodness in the Formula
"The formula contains strengthening and moisturising elements, including anti-oxidant pro-vitamin B5 and myrrh extract, to help protect and care for nails and prevent breakages."

Longevity
Different shades and finishes may vary longevity, but I've had the Burberry nail polish in 'Ash Rose' (No. 103) last for two whole weeks on me with only minor tip wear!  The longest lasting nail polish I've experienced so far (and beats Chanel nail polishes). :)

Size
8ml / 0.27 fl oz

Availability
Limited edition for spring/summer 2014.  Available now.

Verdict
I naturally tend to gravitate towards these more cool-toned purple nail polishes and it complements yellow-toned skin.  'Pale Grape' is a more fun, vibrant alternative to the more office-appropriate Burberry 'Dusky Mauve'.  Great for weekend-wear.  I love both!  :D

Hope this was helpful. :)

Thanks for stopping by! ^_^ xo

    1. I think so! It's a beautiful medium to dark-ish shade and it's bright enough for spring still. I'm sure you would enjoy this if it's your type of shade. :) Thanks for looking & commenting. x
