"The dazzling colours of butterflies inspire a joyful look for face and fingertips with the enchanting Summer collection. Lashes flutter in electric shades of mascara and eyelids are adorned with gleaming colours. Nails and lips complete the effect with shades of sunlit brilliance."
Chanel Le Vernis in Azuré (657) is one of three limited edition nail polishes released in this collection. It's a stunningly beautiful, metallic blue-green. Chanel has definitely captured the incredible shade of a blue-green butterfly ("papillon" in French) in Azuré. At the same time, its amazing summery shade also takes me back to the gorgeous and inviting lagoons in the Maldives where I spent my honeymoon. *sigh* hehe...
It's a unique shade and finish, which is something Chanel does well, and why it's probably my favourite brand for nail polishes.
I must say, I'm not one who is usually drawn to blue-green shades, but Azuré on my tips, is just spectacular! That says a lot...and, I'll let these photos below say it for themselves...

I applied 2 coats. For reference, I have medium, olive skin tone (~NC30). The nail polish applied effortlessly. The photos were taken indoors, under artificial lighting and using a strobe.
In the bottle, the nail polish appears duo-chrome. You can see in this photo, the angle has intensified the blue of the nail polish, whereas in other angles, it appears more green.
I use the removable square cap of the nail polish to rest my finger tip on while applying the nail polish. :)
The brush is thin and helps to apply the nail polish precisely.
I personally found most Chanel nail polishes to last on my nails for up to a week, which is another reason why I love their polishes. However, Azuré has shown very minor tip wear on the second day (nothing too noticeable though), so will see how it goes. I'd wear it a LOT nonetheless, because look at that colour!!! ^_^
Overall
I'm thrilled that Chanel has released a shade as exciting and unique as Azuré. I haven't been this excited about a Chanel nail polish since 'Graphite' (529) was released in Fall 2011. :) Azuré will sell out fast! It's definitely a must-have.
