Les Beiges is Chanel's natural or "nude beauty" makeup line, which I adore as it's really the look I go for, particularly as I age and have little time for makeup application being a mum of two littlies and all. >_< Every year, a new colour story is released in addition to the existing permanent Les Beiges range, which I always look forward to and usually succumb to purchasing. This year they've released a limited edition eye shadow palette, which I talk about in this post, an amazing new innovation in their brand new Water-Fresh Tint foundation (which yes, I did purchase and love as well!), and new Les Beiges healthy powders which come in the new limited edition packaging and differs from the existing powders in that they do not include any SPF. Last, but not least, is their Healthy Glow Lip Balm in a reddish shade. You can see a glimpse of the collection here.
Les Indispensables palette
"A range of powdery and creamy textures work perfectly together to create a variety of eye looks from natural to sophisticated. The softness of the formula allows for effortless application and seamless blending."

- A light warm brown
- An ivory pinky beige highlighter
- A warm taupe chocolate

- A taupy platinum (my favourite on its own!! LOVE)
- A taupe khaki grey
- A deep chocolate
- A bronze gold
- A dark dusty red brown

I'm pleased to say that this year's eyeshadow palette "Les Indispensibles" is beautiful and a must-have if you adore the natural, neutral look and a fan of Chanel's more recent silky, smooth eye shadow formulas that blend seamlessly and effortlessly onto the skin. This really is like second skin rather than appearing as powder sitting on top of the skin, which I really appreciate when worn in full sun light, and also if you don't want to emphasise any fine lines or texture that you may have. It appears almost like a cream product even though it's powder. The eye shadows on me lasted throughout the day without any noticeable fading (and without primer - NB. I have normal eye lid skin condition). The palette is versatile and great for day and night (if you use the more deeper shades on the right of the palette). You can see it's been grouped into threes in the palette: slightly warm colour group, then a cooler toned group and a more neutral group - which you can use in that way, or mix and match however you feel. Just terrific!
