This is a long overdue post, but I thought I'd finally share with you my recent beauty loves (or products I've favoured) over the last few months. :)
Face
Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Powder in No.20 for all-over natural-looking, healthy complexion.
Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base - Amazing. Can't do without this. I don't know how I could not have discovered this earlier!!!
Poudre Signee de Chanel Illuminating Powder - great highlighting, glowing powder, but I sometimes love to use this as a brightening eye shadow on the lids.
Mac Satin Powder Blush in 'Taupe Shape' for contouring.
Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer in 'Ocher' - the best concealer I've used for both the under-eye area and for blemishes. I've used this almost everyday for months, in lots of areas on my face, and still only managed to have used up a little of the entire product. A little does go a long way with this even though it is expensive.
Lips

Tom Ford Lip Color in 'Casablanca'
Dior Addict Lip Polish Smoothing Lacquer in #003 Glow Expert
Burberry Lip Glow in 'Tea Rose'.
Cheeks

This is quite a shock to me, but there is no pink blush here! :-o
Nars Blush in 'Seduction' (bottom left) - looks great on many skin tones. Beautiful for autumn.
Laura Mercier Second skin Cheek Colour in 'Rose Petal' (top left) - and oldie but a goodie in my collection. so flattering.
Sunday Riley Blush in 'Blushing' (top right)
Chanel Joues Contraste in 'Frivole' (bottom right)
Addiction by Ayako Cheek Stick in 'Revenge' (middle) - brilliant product and pretty red coral colour!!! <3
Eyes
My custom Mac eye shadow palette - my favourite are 'Naked Lunch' (amazing for the inner corners of the eyes) and 'All That Glitters'.
Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow in 'Taupe Brown' (versatile for eye brows and eye definition).
The eye shadow quad in the Nars 'The Happening Palette'.
Chanel Illusion d'Ombre (Long Wear Luminous Eye Shadow) in 'Convoitise' - gorgeous, pale, cool gold. :)
Becca Eye Priming Perfector - the best eye primer I've used (even better than my previous 'go-to' Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base!). Beautiful on its own or as a base.
Brows & Eye Line

Three Flash Performance Eyeliner Pencils in 'Eye Rock' and 'Eye Belong'
My go-to holy grail - Kevyn Aucoin Precision Brow Pencil in 'Brunette'
Lancome Artliner in 'Black'.
Lashes

Becca 'The Ultimate Mascara' - my favourite for natural-looking, 'wispy', smudge-proof, easy-to-clean mascara.
Le Volume de Chanel Mascara - relatively new to me, but love this for super dramatic lashes for nights out.
Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara - sample - love the effect and brush.
Skin

My second bottle of Shu Uemura Skin Purifier (High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil Advanced Formula) - my go-to cleanser to thoroughly remove all makeup, especially water-proof mascaras.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Gentle Hydrating Cleanser for Dry skin - loving this for my currently winter dry skin.
QV Hand Cream - cheap, effective hand cream that heals dry, irritated hands.
Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturiser - love the way this feels, smells and really nourishes my skin. Love the convenient, hygienic pump dispenser, too - the first I've seen for a tub container. :)
Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 15 PA++ (I got this as part of a GWP) - love the fact that it has SPF for the eyes, but doesn't irritate them at all. Feels lovely, too.
Tips
Chanel Le Vernis in Azuré - stunning and summery!
OPI Nail Lacquer in 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' - the best, mesmerising bling on my fingers.
Hair
Kerastase Resistance Bain Age Recharge Shampoo - gives beautiful bounce and body to my hair.
Kerastase Nutritive Lait Vital Conditioner - I massage this through from mid-length of my hair to the ends (not the top half to maintain volume and body). A great pairing.
Hope this was helpful/interesting. :)
Thanks for stopping by! ^_^ xo

ReplyDeleteThank you @iconika :)
DeleteHi Indigo :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the Becca eye primer it has replaced my Nars eye primer too, I love it. I can't wait to try Chanel Les Beiges Powder after reading all the glowing reviews about it! Can't believe here in the US it won't be available till August :/
Curious to know how does the Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base compare to Burberry's Fresh Glow? Are they almost the same or would you say there is a big difference?
x Naomi
Hi Naomi! :) Yes Becca eye primer rules! :D Yes you must try Les Beiges once it comes out in your neck of the woods. I love it. August isn't too far away ;) Can't believe how time flies. It'll be worth the wait I'm sure. hehe. Thanks for your awesome question about how Le Blanc compares to Burberry's Sheer Glow - I've just done a post on it here:
