Along with the gorgeous honey mask I've been trying out (reviewed here), is Aveseena's Essential Radiance Serum. This product is aimed for those whose skin is need of radiance and moisture, and is ideal for all skin types and ages.
Again, this product like all of Aveseena's range is formulated based on science and uses natural, organic ingredients, and health-conscious ingredients (full list down below).
Some of the key ingredients of this serum include rose and aloe vera for moisturising effects, Vitamin B3 antioxidant to fight against UV and environmental pollution, plant stem cell extracts to give the skin a resilient bounce, and Reishi Mushroom to illuminate dull complexions.
I've been using two pumps of the serum on cleansed skin morning and night on my face, neck and décolletage every day followed by moisturiser - in particular, their Ageless Perfection Cream (reviewed here), and then sunscreen (in the morning) as recommended.
When the serum is dispensed, it appears milky and it has a lightweight gel-like texture. It has a subtle citrus/floral scent to it, but isn't really noticeable when applying to your face. It blends and absorbs into the skin well then mostly feels dries to the touch except for my forehead which seems to feel slightly tacky (but not greasy by any means)! My skin appears smooth afterwards.
Note, you will experience a mild tingling sensation as you blend the product into your skin, which is normal for this product and only happens temporarily. It doesn't bother me personally.
I found these products didn't leave any residue on my skin and layered well under sunscreen and makeup. This did not break me out or leave any irritation, so it's very gentle. For reference, I have dry/dehydrated skin, and in the morning I wake up after applying this serum and cream together overnight in particular, my skin feels moisturised and firm/lifted, and is visibly refreshed, much brighter and more evenly toned - hence, youth! Exactly what I need! ^_^
