AVESEENA AGELESS PERFECTION CREAM

Over the last month I've been trying out three of Aveseena's best selling skin care products on a daily basis (see serum review here and mask review here).  Here, I'm reviewing their Ageless Perfection Cream.  This is an anti-aging moisturising cream that is ideal for all skin types including dull, tired and prematurely aged complexions.  It targets fine lines, wrinkles, dehydration, loss of radiance and firmness.

Again, this product like all of Aveseena's range is formulated based on science and uses natural, organic ingredients, and health-conscious ingredients (full list down below).

The cream contains botanical oils such as avocado and jojoba to retain moisture; rose absolute, cucumber and aloe vera to calm and sooth; botanical hyaluronic acid alternative for hydration; rosehip, unflower cocoa and coconut oils for resilience and softness; plant stem cells for luminosity; and last, but not least - coenzyme Q10 to visibly improve the appearance of fine lines.

I use just the one pump (a little goes a long way) to cover face, neck and décolletage directly after applying their Essential Radiance Serum as recommended (but, you can also just use it on its own).  I do this every day, morning and night.

The moisturiser appears like most other moisturisers - a white cream.  It's meant to have a "hint of fresh green, Rose scent" from its natural ingredients.  To me, it reminds me of potpourri, which I'm personally not a fan of, so I must admit it did put me off for a while!  /:-\  Despite that, the cream itself, blends and absorbs into the skin well and does not feel greasy.  Instead, it leaves it feeling fresh, smooth, comfortable and moisturised.

I found these products didn't leave any residue on my skin and layered well under sunscreen and makeup.  This did not break me out or leave any irritation, so it's very gentle.  For reference, I have dry/dehydrated skin, and in the morning I wake up after applying this serum and cream together overnight in particular, my skin feels moisturised and firm/lifted, and is visibly refreshed, much brighter and more evenly toned - hence, youth!  All the things a tired, mum of toddler needs!

Additional Information
There are no artificial dyes or artificial fragrances in Aveseena's products, and they comply with international standards, and are "H-Free", which includes chemicals with endocrine (hormone) disruptor characteristics like parabens, which can interfere with or disrupt the delicate hormone balance in our bodies.  They are dermatologist tested and approved; hypoallergenic; certified 100% cruelty-free and animal friendly, and EWG verified.  This particular product is also suitable for vegans.

Packaging

I love the packaging.  The tub is relatively big, but it's made of good quality plastic so it's still light enough to travel with you if you need to.  It also comes in a very nifty, convenient and hygienic, big, round pump dispenser, which is on top of the tub - the same as the Kate Somerville Nourish Moisturiser.  It dispenses just the right amount of product so there is no wastage or difficulty in controlling it.  Overall, a simple, yet very nice quality, practical and hygienic packaging.

Below is how one pump of the product looks when dispensed.

Bottom Line
Apart from the minor issue of its scent, I love using this in combination with their serum and mask.  I really see these three provide a visible, positive difference.  So, I recommend trying all three products out if you can to get the full skin benefits.  I love how it all provides a simple skin care regime that's consistent for both morning and night, and that's suitable for all skin types.  You won't have to worry about buying and applying multiple products for different times of day, or for different skin conditions.  Overall, this is another great product that works without any nasty ingredients.
